Virtual Reality- Army of the Walking Dead Tenant Improvement

About The Project

Army of the Dead Virtual Reality is a recent tenant improvement located in the business complex adjacent to Area 15. This wasn’t a typical tenant improvement and required less demo and more work on bringing the building up to proper code and upgrading existing features.

Notably the project included moving two food truck style trucks, adjusted to be a VR prop from one suite to another suite within the interior of the building. Additionally, the existing electrical needed to be upgraded along with the fire sprinklers.

The biggest challenge in the project was arranging the two trucks previously mentioned to allow for ADA platforms, and gaming platforms as well as space for proper egress.

The front Entry is a dark entry with fun props on theme, and one small work office. This leads into a larger warehouse space where participants can check in and shop before beginning their game.

Subcontractors On The Tenant Improvement

Our subcontractors on this tenant improvement are as followed. Our MPE subcontractors were Foxtrot Electric for Electrical, Excel Plumbing for Plumbing. Statewide performed Fire Protection on this project . Doors and Windows were provided by Woodworks. Along with DLT Construction and Nextgen who also performed work on our project.
