Shipmonk Tenant Improvement
About The Project
This 400,000 sqft warehouse office Tenant Improvement is located in North Las Vegas. This space consists of a new office space and large warehouse facility. The building in which the tenant occupies is a new addition to the Las Vegas Valley.
With 12,000sqft of new office space, the shipping and operations team for the facility will have plenty of space for future business opportunities. The space consists of large open common areas, that can be used for co-work space or training rooms. Individual offices, and restroom and kitchen facilities. All spaces incorporated Shipmonks corporate design.
From floors to doors, and all of the above, all aspects of this project represent the Shipmonk team and Kalb’s high standard for completion and customer satisfaction.
Cooling the Space In the Desert
Many of you saw a sneak peak into this tenant improvement project when we previously shared our work on the heated and air conditioning units for this building. With the help of our subcontractor and pilot we hoisted twenty-nine 1100 lb. Swamp Coolers onto the roof via helicopter.
A big thank you to our subcontractors on this portion of the project were Evap 1 Cooling, Heating & Refrigeration. As well as Sundance Helicopters, pilot John Haverly, and his ground support Chris Horton. Kalb was also accompanied by Region 9 during the entire process including an on-site safety meeting beforehand, as well as ensuring all were following all PP&E requirements.
Our Subcontractors for the Tenant Improvement
We had several subcontractors on this tenant improvement project. Evap 1 Cooling, Heating and Refrigeration was our Mechanical sub, Foxtrot Electric for Electrical, Excel Plumbing for Plumbing. Focus Fire was on Fire Protection, Concrete plus for all concrete work. Cutting Edge Cabinetry worked on all countertops and millwork. Woodworks installed all doors and windows, and Artistic Iron was our metals subcontractor, and lastly Innovative flooring installed flooring throughout.
