Handel’s Ice Cream – Store Tenant Improvement

Kalb Industries is a construction company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. They successfully completed a comprehensive store tenant improvement project for Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. They opened two new locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, and hired Kalb Industries to complete a store tenant improvement for both locations. Both locations were a complete demo to rebuild and competed in the short time of twelve weeks.

Store Tenant Improvement at Arroyo Crossing Handel’s

At the Arroyo Crossing location, Kalb Industries removed the store front and added new pony walls, pass through windows, relocated glass, and changed the entrance into the building. This allowed for it to be more of a walkup window with seating outside then a ice cream parlor with seating. The team also installed a full-size grease trap at the back of the building.

Handel’s provided all the freezers and ice cream machines to meet their company standard. Signage was provided by the owners. Power was provided by Kalb Industries and SRS Electric. Plumbing was completed by Excel Plumbing. Flooring at the Charleston location was completed by Ryerson Concrete. Kalb Industries finished the project by sanding and refinishing the entire store with blue epoxy.

Subcontractors on these store tenant improvements were Excel Plumbing, All In Heating and Air, SRS Electric, Ryerson Concrete, Proline, and Innovative Flooring.
