Ground-Up – Sunset Warehouse- Blak Development
Blak Development and Kalb Industries broke ground on this 16,992 sqft project just over one year ago. Once a vacant lot, it is now home to two beautiful office spaces complete with warehouse space and loading docks.
About The Ground-Up Warehouse Project
The two-building project was completed to bring new business to this ever-growing part of town. The buildings feature tilt-up concrete walls, with the internal space finished as a shell, allowing future tenants to customize it to their exact needs. The two locations mirror each other, with large glass windows encasing the entryway and green and grey coloring on the exterior.
In the warehouse space, you will find only structural components, providing adequate space for shelving and equipment. Each space has a loading dock for larger semi-trucks, high-clearance delivery vans, and a ramp with direct access to the warehouse for smaller items and equipment. Each building also features top-of-the-line heating and cooling units located on the roof.
The complex has brand-new paving and plenty of parking for employees and customers.
The building at the back of the property is already rented by a future tenant. In the space, you will find a completed office space with an open entry and waiting area, conference room, private offices, an employee break room, and a universal restroom.
Our Subcontractors
On this ground-up project, we partnered with a top-notch team of subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiency. For mechanical systems, we relied on ALL IN Mechanical. Cutting Edge Cabinets handled both countertops and millwork, ensuring a seamless and stylish finish. Foxtrot Electric handled all electrical needs, while TORC Roofing managed the roofing. They also contributed to the metalwork alongside JC Steel.
Additionally, Excel Plumbing ensured flawless installation of the plumbing systems. Finally, Fast Glass & Woodworks managed the doors and windows, offering both durability and aesthetic appeal. Innovative Flooring provided stunning and durable flooring solutions. MTX Masonry brought craftsmanship to the masonry work, adding robust and beautiful structures. Focus Fire provided comprehensive fire protection services. Morley Grading handled site work, Bull Concrete provided the concrete, and Escalara Landscaping transformed the exterior with their exceptional landscaping services. We could not have completed this project without the diligent work of all our subcontractors.
