Born And Raised- Tenant Improvement
Born and Raised ( BAR) Centennial is just off the 215 and Durango just opened its doors to the public and saw a busy first week for the Super Bowl. The bar and lounge are is 4,797 sqft and the outside boosts a 1,797 sqft patio perfect for evening cocktails, catching a game with friends, or large parties. This tenant improvement is the second project we have completed for BAR.
An Inside Look at the Bar
Inside you will see polished stained sealed concrete floors in all the main public areas, in the kitchen you have your typical Quarry tile and base. In the Lounge seating area, you will notice that the east wall is painted with Black and White Horizontal striping which has become a signature accent wall for Born and Raised, simulating the accent wall in their lounge at the previous BAR location we built for them on Craig Road.
The lounge booth seating is also equipped with receptacles and USB ports for customers to charge their phones or work right at their booths while dining and enjoying the large TV wall in the area.
At the entrance into the BAR you will be welcomed with High Top Seating at Black Marble stone tops with a background featuring the “Skull Wall”, which hosts approximately 400 plus 7-8’ tall gold-painted skulls. The bar area seating also plays host to high-top seating as well as low-tops at their half booths. With the backdrop to the half booths appearing to be marble panels, however, it is upholstered panels on the back as well as soffit panels above. Not only do these panels play easily to the eye but it also is used to assist acoustically in this area as you can only imagine how loud a good vibrant bar atmosphere can be, considering the multiple TVs and slot machines.
The large U-shaped bar and bar top have 15 gaming machines that you can partake in while watching your favorite Golden Knights beat their opponents. The back bar plays host to a beer tower that dispenses twenty different types of beers. The bar area is also serviced by 4 smoke extractor units. These units are self-contained and pull the area’s air into them, filter it then exhaust the clean filtered air back into the space. One of the featured items in this area is the 2 ½” thick 3’ x `10” solid wood high-top table.
What’s Outside?
The “Bar” and the outside Patio is separated by a full height and width glass rollup door so as the weather welcomes it they will open it up to outside dining and Spirits. You can either seat yourself at the pass-through roll-up door, the multiple Half booth seating, the Party Swing seating or set yourself up at the Fire Pit and stay warm.
On the patio, you can enjoy your spirits and watch your favorite Sports Game as there are 14 TVs to view. You can also cozy up to the 9’ foot fireplace and just enjoy a conversation. The Patio picks up the sunrise and a beautiful sunset as the day comes to an end.
The Behind the Scenes
BAR has a large kitchen with FRP wall panels, walk-in coolers, and freezers as well as a full beer keg setup, soda machines, and a prep and cook line that can prepare the results that their menu represents. BAR offers a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu as well as your non and typical “Bar Foods” and snacks.
The restrooms are finished with a deep blue subway tile, marble vanity tops with two sinks. Your privacy is preserved with Black Laminate Partitions.
