Ground-Up build Meridian a Howard Hughes Holdings Project

Located in the ever-growing Summerlin area, our most recent ground-up build for the Howard Hughes Holdings Meridian is now complete and ready for future tenant TI’s. The 147,000 sqft project took just over a year to complete.

About the Ground- Up Project

During the project’s preconstruction phase, our team played an integral role in value engineering and schedule creation.  The conversations and design charrette that took place before construction save time and money on the finished product.  The mindset of all involved was to create an office space that achieved priceless views and an awesome experience for future tenants, but also was cost-conscious and functional.

Our team partnered with Howard Hughes Holdings, one of the United States’s largest developers and a company with some of the most stringent design criteria, for this ground-up build. The level of design and project criteria expectations was another feather in the cap for Kalb Industries. The project consists of two three-story buildings with a central one-story common area. As well as class A office space with developed common areas and restrooms. Two elevators per building and extensive desert smart landscaping throughout the property and carports for the hot summer months. With the future of this space being home to multi-million dollar business the working spaces, common areas and even the restrooms needed to have appeal to a multitude of prospective clients.

Project finishes inside include exception millwork and artwork displays throughout. With open office floor plans, and gorgeous views of both Redrock and the Las Vegas strip. Thoughtful color blending from the paint color to the flooring, in all common spaces.

Project Team

Many challenges were faced throughout construction.  Our goal was to be a team player, add value, and come to the group with solutions.  We could not have accomplished this project with our goals in mind without our subcontractors.
